But everything changes when she discovers that Hunter is cheating on her—and she’s forced to decide what her next move should be.
Soon, Sydney finds herself captivated by her mysterious and attractive neighbor, Ridge. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to the passionate way he plays his guitar every evening out on his balcony. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either. They soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one.

MY RATING: 5 Starts

MY OPINION:

Colleen Hoover is Colleen Hoover… she will always be this brilliant author and nothing will ever change that !

I had this book “Maybe Someday” sitting on my shelves for a long time, it was probably the first book I added to my goodreads list and I always wanted to read it, in the beginning I didn’t want to read it because of the author, I didn’t want to read it because I loved the synopsis, I wanted to read it because everyone were saying amazing things about it and at the time I didn’t even knew who Colleen Hoover was.

I read three book written by Colleen Hoover and I still have four to read on my shelves (“November 9”, “Slammed”, “Point of Retreat” & “This Girl”) which means I read “Confess”, “Ugly Love” and “Maybe Someday”, yes I know I still need to buy the other three (“Hopeless”, “Losing Hope” & “Finding Cinderella” I guess). From the three books I read my favorite was “Confess”, don’t really know why but I just loved it… but this one ?! it is so close to what I felt for “Confess”… I really loved “Ugly Love” too, but I don’t know… Colleen Hoover confuses me.

This book was amazingly written and it was so beautiful… it pulls you into the story from the beginning till the end, I read it really fast because it is so well written and it is so simple to understand and it is such a light reading… it’s impossible not to like it (unless you are not a NA fan of course). You can’t help not getting attached to the characters because they are all so likable, they are all so amazing and they all have a huge heart and you just want to hug them all. If you ask me “is there any character you didn’t like?!” – honestly ?! no, I loved every character in this book especially the two main characters and Ridge’s best friend, so amazing seriously.

As in any book there’s a point in the story that you can’t help it, you just get mad at one of the main characters, and I got really mad at Ridge at some point, even if I can understand his attitude… I don’t know, he just got me out of my nerves… and sometimes Sydney freaked me out because she was always forgiving everything, and that was just so annoying, but I never stopped liking them, not even after that.

So for me, the part that shocked me the most was the beginning, not the beginning beginning, but when Colleen Hoover reveals to us something about Ridge… I was not expecting that and I don’t know if I am the only one who felt that way, but that was so shocking because I was not expecting that at all.

I am recommending this book to everyone because it is absolutely amazing, I loved everything about it and I am sure that you’ll love this book if you are a fan of Colleen Hoover or if you are a fan of NA Romances… even if you are not, there’s a major possibility of you ending up loving this book as much as I did !
