Goodreads Synopsis: What are you willing to sacrifice when the only person who can save you is the same one who has to kill you?
After vampires and werewolves, after wizards and fallen angels, a new breed of Angels is here to usher you into their dark world. An ancient, deadly, inescapable race.
No one can see them. They’re shadows of destiny. They’re knights of death. They’re the Subterraneans and they’re here to claim our lives.
Commanded by a mysterious congregation called the Màsala, the Angels of Death ensure that each man’s destiny takes its due course on Earth.
But what happens when love intervenes?
Can an Angel of Death deny his own nature and challenge destiny?
Can love rebel against fate?
When Gemma’s eyes first meet the dark, piercing gaze of Evan James, an ominous shadow creeps into her life, ultimately leading her to face her destiny. She doesn’t realize Evan is one of Death’s soldiers and that Death is summoning her.
Her time is up: Gemma must die . . . and Evan has been sent to kill her.
But what if she’s the only one who can truly see him?
Against every rule. Against fate itself. Against everything and everyone. A story of forbidden love and star-crossed destinies.
Dark. Romantic. Dangerous.
Touched combines devastating passion and unconfessable secrets, heartrending decisions and deep emotions, giving life to a love story as intense as the feelings that unite Evan and Gemma, as inescapable as the destiny that looms over them . . .

MY RATING: 5 Starts

MY OPINION:

* The author of this book sent me this physical copy in exchange for an honest review, so don’t expect less than that, I will always give my honest opinion, like it or not *

I really liked the story, it was very beautiful, romantic and not cheesy at all even being a YA romance, it was lovable and cute.

There was a lot of information in this book, you just get to know more about myths and constellations which is really interesting, you just learn a lot of new things which is amazing, now we can say, reading is culture right ?

As for the characters, I kind of liked them all, I have to admit that I felt a sorry for Peter because he loved Gemma but she didn’t love him back, she only loved him as a brother which is a pretty bad thing to know.

I need to tell you right now that I LOVED Gemma she is sooo like me you can’t even imagine, only knowing me and reading this book you can see that, she likes reading, music (since I am taking a degree in Music Education you can see the similarity) and she isn’t much into socializing, JUST LIKE ME ! Let’s just see, she’s probably my soul mate which is amazing really , I bet we would be best friend if she was a real person !

So when Gemma meets Evan, she falls head over heels in love with him, I mean guys, who wouldn’t ? Could he be hotter ? What she doesn’t know is who he is, but she’ll find out soon enough… and I am going to tell you what he is, Evan is…charming I’d say… he’s something more than that actually but I can’t tell you because I would be spoiling you and I guess the author would not like that, I am sure she wouldn’t actually.

Another character that I loved a lot besides Gemma and Evan was Ginevra. She is great, I liked her very much, I wouldn’t mind having her powers and she could be my friend too, I love her personality so yes, BFF !

I liked the story very much. I especially liked the fact that you get to the end of the first book and there is a nice ending, although you know there will be more to it, and you’ll have to read the next books in the series… and I would love to read the next books in the series, I NEED to read the next books in the series like, right now !
