Book Haul » September, 2016

september-2016

This month of September I collected a total of 12 books, yes, that’s kind of a lot BUT I didn’t buy all of them 4 of them were given to me by someone else.

So, 3 of the books in the picture above were given to me by my parents, “The Protector” by Jodi Ellen Malpas was my mom who bought it for me because she loves that author and she wanted me to try her books (and especially because she wants to read that book, yes, she’s smart, she basically bought that book for me because she wanted to read the physical edition of the book) and “Nuts” & “Cream of the Crop” by Alice Clayton were given to me by my parents for my birthday that happened September 11th ! AND “Not in the Script” by Amy Finnegan was given to me by the author in exchange for a honest review.

I already read two of the books in this list – “Collide” & “Pulse” by Gail McHugh – and half of them didn’t arrive yet because I ordered them in the beginning this month so they’ll probably arrive in the next few weeks.

The books I am the most excited about are (TOTALLY) “The Girl in the Red Coat” by Kate Hamer, “The Couple Next Door” by Shari Lapena and “The Silent Wife” by A.S.A Harrinson that as you probably already noticed are THRILLERS !

Let the show begin ! I will write down the information for each book that will be basically the GoodReads link for each book, its ISBN and the Synopsis.

Now, after fighting so hard to be independent and happy, she finds her life threatened as a result of her father’s ruthless business dealings. Caught between resentment and fear, Camille prepares herself for the measures her father will take to protect her. But nothing could prepare her for the ex-SAS sniper who crashes into her life.
Jake Sharp resides in his own personal hell. He was distracted from duty once before, and the consequences were devastating–both personally and professionally. He vowed never to let that happen again. Accepting the job of bodyguard to Camille Logan isn’t the kind of distraction from his demons he should take. Women and Jake don’t mix well, yet protecting the heiress seems the lesser of two evils. But Jake soon discovers that she isn’t the woman she’s perceived to be. Her favorite booth also indulges her love of all things handsome. Oscar Mendoza, owner of the Bailey Falls Creamery and purveyor of the finest artisanal cheeses the Hudson Valley has to offer, is tall, dark, mysterious, and a bit oblivious. Or so she thinks.
